- Weightlifter Oleksandr Pielieshenko, who represented Ukraine at the Rio 2016 Olympics, has died during the conflict with Russia. Two-time European champion Pielieshenko, 30, joined the armed forces soon after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, according to the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
- Udinese force Napoli to a 1-1 home draw in Monday’s Serie A game. Victor Osimhen was on target for Napoli but a late Isaac Success goal saw relegation threatened got a point after full-time.
- Paris Saint-Germain will on Tuesday night host Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg tie in France. The first leg ended 1-0 in favour of the Bundesliga side last week.
