Paris Saint-Germain superstar, Kylian Mbappe has given a reason why his team were eliminated from the UEFA Champions League semi-final stage on Tuesday.
Mats Hummels scored at the Parc des Princes as Dortmund won the semi-final second leg 1-0.
The Bundesliga club had won 1-0 in the first leg last week and progressed to the final on a 2-0 aggregate win.
However, Mbappe feels PSG were not efficient against the visitors.
“My last Champions League match with PSG? This season, it’s certain we won’t be playing anymore,” Mbappe told the French media (via PSG Talk).
“Now, as I said before, we’re very disappointed with today’s result. We wanted to win. We tried to bring the right elements to win, but in knockout matches in the Champions League, you need to be efficient, and we weren’t quite there in both games.”
