Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has hailed Bukayo Saka as a ‘very intelligent’ player after Sunday’s Premier League 1-0 win against Manchester United.
Speaking after the match, Wright insisted that Saka is ‘overlooked’ in his defensive work for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Recall that Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the game as the Gunners defeated the Red Devils at Old Trafford.
“You look at Saka’s numbers, not just his goals and assists but his defensive work, which is always overlooked,” Wright told Premier League Productions.
“He’s a very intelligent player when it comes to helping the team.
“He’s got such a level that it’s normalising very, very consistent play.”
