Transfer: Fabrizio Romano confirms Chelsea’s first step to signing Osimhen from Napoli

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Chelsea have commenced their move to signed Victor Osimhen from Napoli.

According to Romano, the Premier League west London club have spoken to the agent of Super Eagles forward on the possibility of moving to Stamford Bridge. 

Chelsea are said to be one of the top European club interested in signing Osimhen  this summer.

The Blues, however, faces stiff opposition from French Ligue 1 champions PSG.

Osimhen is said to be more open to moving to the Premier League rather than a return to the Ligue 1

And now Romano reveals that Mauricio Pochettino’s side have contacted Osimhen’s agent.

“They have a shortlist of players, maybe four or five names for each position but you still don’t know who is the top target but at the end of day you are already speaking to agents to discuss opportunities,” he told Mics’ YouTube page.

“For example, Chelsea spoke to different agents for the striker position, the agents of Sesko, Osimhen, the agents of different players.”
