Former Barcelona goal poacher, Gary Lineker, has lauded Chelsea forward Cole Palmer, likening the precision of his pass to one executed by Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi.
Palmer showcased his prowess with a sublime assist during Chelsea’s 3-2 Premier League triumph over Nottingham Forest at the weekend.
The English talent delivered a pinpoint pass between centre-back Willy Boly and right-back Gonzalo Montiel, setting up Mykhailo Mudryk to break the deadlock for the Blues.
Reflecting on the match during the Rest of Football podcast, Lineker couldn’t contain his admiration for Palmer’s contribution, emphasizing the remarkable accuracy of his pass, stating:
