Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has taken a swipe at Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal for not competing despite spending a lot of money to improve their squads in the last five years.
Guardiola said this while insisting that the club’s success is “not boring” or due to financial strength.
Man City are in pursuit of a historic fourth successive English league title this season.
The Citizens could also achieve a domestic league and FA Cup double in consecutive seasons.
Guardiola, speaking ahead of Tuesday’s trip to Tottenham, said: “It’s not boring. It’s difficult.
“Before it was the money. For that reason, Manchester United should have won all the titles, Chelsea – all the titles, Arsenal – all the titles.
“They spend as much money in the last five years as us. They should be there. They are not there.”
