Crystal Palace player, Olise still eligible to play for Nigeria after Euros snub

Crystal Palace winger, Michael Olise, remains eligible to play for Nigeria at the international level.

This comes after his exclusion from France’s squad for the 2024 European Championships (Euros).

Despite an impressive season with Palace, where Olise netted 10 goals and provided 5 assists in just 18 games, France coach Didier Deschamps decided not to include him in the his squad.

Olise, 24, was born in London to a Nigerian father and a French-Algerian mother.

This multi-national heritage means he can still represent Nigeria, France, Algeria, or England internationally.
