Xavi Hernandez has sent a warning to incoming new Barcelona manager that he would suffer at the Catalan club.
Xavi also urged him to be patient, adding that the managerial position of Barcelona is complicated.
Recall that Xavi was sacked by Barcelona last week.
Former Bayern Munich manager, Hansi Flick, is nearing a deal to become Barcelona’s next head coach following Xavi’s exit.
“I would like to tell the new coach that he will suffer and that he should be patient, it’s a very complicated position,” Xavi told DAZN after Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Sevilla in the LaLiga on Sunday.
“The only thing that will save the new coach is winning,” he added.
