ESPN reports that the players are Vitor Roque, Robert Lewandowski, João Félix and João Cancelo.
Xavi took charge of his final match on Sunday as Barcelona defeated Sevilla 2-1 to finish second position in LaLiga and trophyless this season.
However, prior to his departure, Xavi had big plans to overhaul the squad this summer, especially in attack.
The Spanaird wanted to freshen things up by getting rid of Lewandowski, Félix and Cancelo and Roque.
It remains to be seen if the next manager, expected to be former Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick, will retain any of these players.
