Former AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has confirmed he wants to become Fenerbahce’s new head coach.
Earlier on Saturday, the Turkish Super Lig club revealed they were in talks with the former Real Madrid manager.
“Not yet, not yet. I decided I want to go but it is not done yet.
“I cannot confirm officially, but yes I want to go,” Mourinho told Sky Sports when asked about the Fenerbahce job.
Mourinho is set to take over a team that finished second in the Super Lig, three points behind champions Galatasaray.
The Portuguese will replace Turkish boss Ismail Kartal, who oversaw just one loss in the league, but six draws proved to be costly in the title race.
