- Jose Mourinho told Fenerbahce fans “this shirt is my skin” as he was presented as the new coach of the Turkish Super Lig club. Thousands attended the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul on Sunday to watch the signing ceremony, which took place on a huge stage built on the field.
- Rugby league legend Rob Burrow has died at the age of 41. Leeds’ statement released on Sunday evening, which confirmed Burrow was surrounded by his family when he passed away, partly read: “It is with deep sadness that the club can confirm that former player Rob Burrow CBE has passed away, aged 41.”
- Kylian Mbappe is expected to be announced by Real Madrid this week and receive a signing-on bonus of just over £85m (€100m). The 25-year-old, who scored 256 goals in 308 appearances for PSG, is set to sign a five-year contract at the Santiago Bernabeu worth (£12.8m) (€15m) a year after tax.
- Chelsea are set to confirm Enzo Maresca as their new head coach on Monday. The 44-year-old, who will succeed Mauricio Pochettino at Stamford Bridge, has agreed a five-year deal and will move from Leicester after leading them back to the Premier League by winning the Championship.
- Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre recovered from a shaky start and held off a host of challengers to win his first PGA Tour title at the RBC Canadian Open. MacIntyre carded a two-under final round of 68 at Hamilton Golf and Country Club to finish 16 under par, a shot ahead of Ben Griffin.
