Chelsea are reportedly considering bringing back their former player to strengthen manager Enzo Maresca’s squad this summer transfer window.
Following Maresca’s appointment as manager, the Blues are aiming to bolster their lineup this summer.
Maresca’s first signing was Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham, and now he is eyeing a new goalkeeper.
Last season, Chelsea’s goalkeeper position saw a rotation between Robert Sanchez and Dorde Petrovic, reflecting a season of mixed performances for the Premier League west London club.
As per L’Equipe, Chelsea might turn to the French league to enhance their goalkeeper options.
Having avoided breaking Premier League financial rules, Chelsea are targeting a former player who departed five years ago.
The player in question is Nice’s Marcin Bulka, who could be making a return to Stamford Bridge.
Bulka, who previously spent three years in Chelsea’s academy but never made a first-team appearance, has since established himself with Nice and also represented Poland internationally.
