Former Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane has named the three players who impressed him the most during his spell as coach of the club.
The three players, according to Zidane are Toni Kroos, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema.
Zidane said the trio don’t lose the ball for long period of time in a game.
Recall that Zidane first managed Real Madrid between 2016 and 2018.
The 51-year-old won three consecutive UEFA Champions League, along with winning several other trophies for the Los Blancos.
Zidane returned to Real Madrid in 2019 for two years and won the La Liga title and the Supercopa de Espana.
He was recently asked to name the player who impressed him the most during his time as a manager of Madrid.
The Frenchman said (via Madrid Xtra): “Players who impressed me the most as a coach? When you see Kroos, Modrić & Benzema playing for you for an hour without losing a single ball, that is football.”
