Euro 2024: They don’t have enough talented players – Mourinho names team that won’t win tournament

Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho has said that Italy won’t win the Euro 2024 because the team “do not have enough talented players.

Italy are the defending champions going into the tournament in Germany.

However, Mourinho feels the likes of Portugal, Spain, France, England and Germany are favourites to win the trophy this year ahead of the Azzurris.

“I don’t believe it, [Italy will win the Euro 2024],” Mourinho told RTP.

“It’s not a very talented generation. I can’t see enough talent to win, they won the last one, but I don’t believe in a second time.”

Italy are in Group B alongside Spain, Croatia and Albania.

The Euro 2024 will start on June 14, with host nation Germany taking on Scotland.
