After parting ways with Brighton at the season’s end, Roberto De Zerbi is poised to re-enter management.
The Italian manager departed the Amex Stadium after a two-year tenure, reportedly due to differing visions for the club’s future.
Brighton has announced that 31-year-old Fabian Hurzeler will succeed De Zerbi.
However, De Zerbi is set to continue his coaching career in France, with reports from the UK Sun indicating he will take the helm at Marseille.
Despite being previously linked to Manchester United, the Red Devils’ commitment to Erik ten Hag paved the way for De Zerbi’s move to Marseille.
Marseille concluded last season in eighth place, with Jean-Louis Gasset stepping in to lead the team after Gennaro Gattuso’s departure in February.
