Transfer: ‘He’s not for sale’ – Napoli refuse to allow attacker leave after Conte’s arrival

After the arrival of Antonio Conte as their new manager, Napoli have decided that attacker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will not be allowed to leave the club this summer transfer window.

Kvaratskhelia’s agent had recently put pressure on Gli Azzurri in an interview with the Georgian paper Sport Imedi, stating “We want to leave Napoli, but for now we’re focusing on the Euros.”

Kvaratskhelia is being chased by Paris Saint-Germain who are expected to sign him as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe who is now a Real Madrid player.

“After Kvaratskhelia’s camp statement, we want to remind that he’s under contract until June 2027,” Napoli said in a statement.

“Kvaratskelia is NOT for sale.

“Player’s agents do NOT decide where they are going, but it’s Napoli deciding when they are under contract”.

Napoli had last season announced that Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen, would be leaving the Serie A club this summer.
