Last Euro for them – Mourinho sad over three players

Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho has shared his thoughts on the illustrious careers of Real Madrid legends Cristiano Ronaldo, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.

Mourinho expressed his sadness over the impending retirements Ronaldo, Modric and Kroos in an interview with Philipp Kessler (via Madrid Zone on X).

Ronaldo, Modric and Kroos have achieved remarkable success during their tenure at Real Madrid.

At 39, Ronaldo and 38-year-old Modric are likely playing their final European Championships.

Kroos has already announced his retirement from professional football following Euro 2024.

The former Chelsea manager said: “To watch Euro with sadness? Because I believe Tonki Kroos, Luka Modric, and Cristiano Ronaldo, it is the last Euro for them.

“And I say sadness, because players like them, we don’t see very often.”
