The Super Eagles of Nigeria dropped eight places in the latest monthly ranking released by the Federation of International Football Federation (FIFA) on Thursday.
Nigeria dropped from 30th to 38th position in the ranking.
Recall that the Super Eagles dropped two places in the previous FIFA ranking.
The three-time African champions had a disappointing results in their recent 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic.
Meanwhile, Morocco are the highest ranked country in Africa.
Senegal is in second position, while Egypt and Cote d’Ivoire occupy third and fourth positions and Nigeria is in fifth place.
