Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has paid tribute to Nacho Fernandez after the defender confirmed his departure from Real Madrid.
Nacho had on Tuesday took his social media handles to announced his departure from Santiago Bernabeu.
The 34-year-old also thanked the Los Blancos for his time spent at the club.
However, reacting to Nacho’s post on Instagram, Ronaldo urged the Spanaird to be proud of what he has achieved at Real Madrid.
“You are one of the heroes of Real Madrid’s great history,” the Al Nassr forward wrote.
“Be proud of what you have achieved Nacho!”
Nacho and Ronaldo were former teammates during their time together at Real Madrid.
