Manchester United are willing to bring their player Mason Greenwood back for pre-season training, if they are unable to sell him in the coming days.
According to The Mirror, United are “prepared to welcome the England forward back”.
The Red Devils are actively trying to offload Greenwood, but as of yet no club has met their asking price.
United is understood to be demanding upwards of £40million for Greenwood.
Lazio had seen a £30million bid for the 22-year-old rejected by the Premier League club earlier this month, with Juventus and Napoli, among others, also thought to be interested in the player.
Greenwood, who spent last season on loan at Getafe.
His contract at Old Trafford will expire in 2025.
