England have qualified for the semi-final of the ongoing Euro 2024 after beating Switzerland on Saturday.
The Three Lions won 5-3 on penalties to see off Switzerland in their quarter-final clash.
The match ended 1-1 after 120 minutes, with Bukayo Saka’s long-range effort cancelling out Breel Embolo’s second half goal.
Manuel Akanji was the only player who missed from 12 yards as England confirmed their place in the final four for a second consecutive tournament.
Gareth Southgate’s men will now face either The Netherlands or Turkey for a place in next Sunday’s final.
Meanwhile, France will face Spain in the other semi-final encounter.
