Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has reportedly offered Herve Renard a deal to coach the Super Eagles.
The NFF are looking for a new coach, after Finidi George recently resigned from the role.
Finidi has since taken up an appointment with Nigeria Premier League Football (NPFL) club Rivers United.
According to FootMercato journalist, Santi Aouna, Renard has been offered a €2million annual salary by the NFF.
Nigeria will however face competition from Egypt, who are also keen on the former Ivory Coast coach.
