Napoli manager, Antonio Conte, has said that striker Victor Osimhen must keep working hard despite his uncertain future at the club.
Osimhen had an agreement with Napoli to leave the Serie A club this summer. transfer window.
Any potential suitor must pay the €130 million release clause in the player’s contract.
At the moment, no club in Europe is willing to pay the staggering fee for the Nigerian international.
Conte stated that he is not sure where Osimhen will be playing next season.
“I spoke to Victor and there are no changes on his situation. He’s a top player,” Conte said in quote relayed by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.
“He’s Napoli player today so he needs to work hard, even if we’ve an agreement [for his potential exit] and still we don’t know the outcome of this story.”
