  1. Chelsea have “instigated an internal disciplinary procedure” into a video posted on social media by Enzo Fernandez.The French Football Federation alleged that the clip is racist.
  2. Former President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF),Amaju Pinnick has described Victor Osimhen’s recent outburst against former Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George “as unfortunate.”
    Pinnick revealed he spoke with Osimhen and expresses his disappointment with his action.
  3. Manchester United are closing in on signing Lille defender Leny Yoro. Sources say United have agreed a 62m-euro (£52.06m) fee for Yoro, who is due to fly to Manchester today for a medical.
  4. Angel City FC has become the world’s most expensive women’s sports team following a $250m (£192.3m) takeover. The Los Angeles-based side have been taken over by US couple Willow Bay and Bob Iger – CEO of the Walt Disney Company – who will become the new controlling owners of the club.
  5. Mason Greenwood is due to have a medical before completing a permanent move from Manchester United to Marseille. Sources have said forward Greenwood has agreed personal terms, with a fee, including add-ons, of more than 30m euros (£25.2m) in place around a contract that is set to run to 2029.
