Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand, has insisted that Arsenal’s 5-0 win against Chelsea on Tuesday night was a game of ‘men against boys’
Speaking on TNT Sports, Ferdinand said Chelsea were the second best team against Arsenal.
The first time ended 1-0, thanks to Leandro Trossard’s strike.
However, two goals each from Ben White and Kai Havertz gave the Gunners all three points against Chelsea.
“They [Chelsea] were second best all over the pitch today. This was men against boys,” Ferdinand said.
“They have been good in recent weeks and this season. I think they were way off it.”
The win against Chelsea ensured Mikel Arteta’s side are now three points ahead of Liverpool and four points ahead of Manchester City.
