Transfer: Carlo Ancelotti reacts as Vinicius receives €1bn offer to leave Real Madrid

Real Madrid head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has insisted that an approach from Saudi Arabia for Vinicius Junior is “pure speculation”.

According to Relevo, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, PIF, have offered Vinicius €1bn over five years.

They are willing to pay the 24-year-old €200million per year if he quits the LaLiga champions.

But Ancelotti, speaking on the eve of the Super Cup clash against Atalanta, claimed there is nothing in it.

He said: “I can guarantee that there’s nothing into it.

“It’s pure speculation.”
