Chelsea owe forward Raheem Sterling £70mllion in wages and bonuses for the three years left on his contract, according to Mail Sport.
The Blues are looking to try and move the 29-year-old on this summer transfer window.
The Premier League west London club has made it clear to Sterling he needs to find another club this summer.
It is believed that Sterling wants to sort out his contractual situation at Stamford Bridge first before deciding which club he wants to move to.
The former Manchester City winger has been training away from the first team squad at Cobham and has seen his No.7 shirt given to new signing Pedro Neto.
Chelsea might have to get creative in trying to find a solution for Sterling.
Reports claim there has been talks over a potential swap deal involving Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho.
