British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season.
Morgan feels the Gunners will not ‘choke’ it this time around after missing out on the title to Manchester City last season.
He said this after Arsenal thrashed Chelsea 5-0 in the Premier League on Tuesday night at Emirates Stadium.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Morgan said he is supremely confident that Mikel Arteta’s side will win the English top-flight league title this term ahead of Manchester City and Liverpool.
“Arteta should have won it last year, Arsenal should have won it last year and every fan knows we choked it,” Morgan, a die-hard Arsenal fan, said.
“This year we cannot choke and will not choke. I am supremely confident.
“That performance [against Chelsea] – if that doesn’t send a shudder down the spine of every Man City fan, then I don’t know what will.”
