Caretaker manager of Super Eagles, Augustine Eguavoen, has announced his starting line-up for the team’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying clash with Rwanda on Tuesday afternoon.
Eguavoen made just one change in his starting X1 that defeated the Cheetahs of Benin Republic last Saturday.
The 59-year-old, however, decided to stick with the same 3-4-3 formation against Benin.
Stanley Nwabali will be in goal post for Nigeria with captain William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi and Calvin Bassey keeping their position in central defence.
The likes of Ola Aina and Bruno Onyemaechi will operate as wing-backs.
Lazio’s Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will start ahead of Fulham’s Alex Iwobi and will partner Wilfred Ndidi in midfield.
Victor Boniface will once again lead the attack for the Super Eagles.
The Bayer Leverkusen striker will be supported by both Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze.
