Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag has given reason why he benched Marcus Rashford against Crystal Palace.
Man United played a 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace in an away Premier League clash on Saturday evening.
Ten Hag opted to bench Rashford as Alejandro Garnacho started ahead of the England international in the attack.
Rashford eventually came off from the bench in the second half to replace Joshua Zirkzee.
However, the 26-year-old failed to score a goal as both teams shared a point each at Selhurst Park.
Explaining his decision to bench Rashford, Ten Hag was quoted by Fabrizio Romano as saying: “It was not difficult because we need to rotate.
“Alejandro Garnacho also needs starts to get better and get more power. Therefore.”
