Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has said the Reds’ Premier League title chances this season are over.
Carragher spoke while reacting to Liverpool’s Premier League 2-0 defeat against the Toffees on Wednesday.
Recall that two goals also from Jarrad Branthwaite and Dominic Calvert-Lewin gave Everton all three points against Liverpool.
The outcome of the game means Liverpool are now three points behind leaders Arsenal with less than four games left.
“This is the end of the title run for Liverpool,” Carragher told Sky Sports.
“It almost feels like the end. They just have to make sure they finish the season strongly.
“They are not clinical enough in both boxes.”
