Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba has expressed happiness after his four-year drug ban was reduced to 18 months following a successful appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
Pogba is now free to start playing for Juventus again from March next year.
The former Manchester United star had tested positive for dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) in the first game of the 2023/24 season.
He was handed a four-year ban in March for a doping offence.
“Finally the nightmare is over,” said Pogba in a statement on Friday.
“Following the decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport, I can look forward to the day when I can follow my dreams again.”
Pogba will be back to action in 2025 and can start training with Juventus in January.
The Frenchman will be allowed to play official matches by March, 2025.
