EPL Table: Liverpool maintain lead after win over Chelsea, Man City ahead Arsenal

Liverpool on Sunday maintained their lead at the top of the Premier League table after beating Chelsea 2-1.

Mohamed Salah put Arne Slot’s side in front at Anfield before Nicholas Jackson equalized for the Blues.

However Curtis Jones then scored to give Liverpool all three points against Enzo Maresca’s side.

The win over Chelsea means Liverpool still maintain number one position on the Premier League table with 21 points from eight games.

The Reds are ahead of Manchester City, who sit in second position with 20 points from the same number of matches.

Recall that Man City came from a goal down to beat Wolves 2-1 on Sunday.

Arsenal and Aston Villa completes the top four positions on the Premier League table.
