Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has said that Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard is the best midfielder in his position.
Neville spoke ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
Odegaard has been impressive for the Gunners so far this season, scoring 11 goals and providing nine assists in all competitions.
“Very good, excellent in fact,” Neville told his podcast when asked about the player’s overall display for Mikel Arteta’s side.
“And Odegaard is mesmerising at the moment, I think he’s become the best in that position in terms of the way in which he plays.”
