Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has reacted to his touchline row with winger Mohamed Salah following his side’s Premier League 2-2 draw against West Ham United.
Klopp was involved in a touchline row with Salah during Liverpool’s draw with West Ham on Saturday at the London Stadium.
Salah started on the bench against the West Ham , with Klopp deciding to start Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Harvey Elliott in attack.
The Egyptian was brought on with 11 minutes remaining, just moments after Michail Antonio scored a header for the host.
But as he prepared to be introduced to the match, Salah reacted angrily to a brief word he received from Klopp on the touchline.
The former Chelsea and AS Roma star threw up his arms on multiple occasions during the exchange with Klopp before Darwin Nunez and Joe Gomez pushed him away from the Liverpool coach.
Speaking on the development during his post-match interview, Klopp said he spoke about the moment he had with Salah with his team in the dressing room.
According to him the matter is done and resolved.
Klopp said, “We spoke about that moment in the dressing room with the lads, it’s done.”
When asked if Salah also consider the matter closed and resolves, the German added, “Yes, that’s my feeling.”
