Ahmed Elmohamady, the former Aston Villa right-back has voiced his thoughts on the confrontation between Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah during the recent game against West Ham United on Saturday.
Salah was benched for the match due to his lacklustre performances in previous games.
A heated disagreement arose between the two on the sidelines following the Hammers’ equalizer.
Salah was about to enter the game when he appeared to be expressing himself passionately towards Klopp.
Darwin Nunez intervened before things got out of hand.
When Salah was asked to comment on the matter post-game, he suggested that it was best not to talk about it.
Also, when asked about the confrontation, Klopp had mentioned that the matter was already discussed in the dressing room and considered it to be resolved.
Reacting to the altercation, Elmohamady expressed his dissatisfaction, stating that Salah deserved more respect.
Elmohamady said (via TBR Football):
“One of the most successful players in the PL history deserves more respect. Honestly.”
