Manchester City on Sunday defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 to keep pace with Arsenal in the Premier League title race.
Pep Guardiola’s side came into the game knowing that Arsenal had won 3-2 against Tottenham Hotspur earlier on Sunday.
However, the Cityzens struggled to break down Forest who are fighting relegation.
Josko Gvardiol headed in a Kevin De Bruyne corner to give Man City the lead in the first half.
Substitute Erling Haaland then doubled the visitors’ lead to give City all three points against the home side.
Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table with 80 points, one point ahead of City, who still have a game in hand.
