Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has said goalkeeper Ederson could miss the most crucial stage of the season after coming off injured during their Premier League 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
Ederson took a blow to the shoulder after clashing with Nottingham Forest’s Willy-Arnaud Boly early in the match.
The Brazilian international continued to play until half-time, when Guardiola replaced him with Stefan Ortega.
He was seen leaving the City Ground with his arm in a sling.
“It doesn’t look good. We see tomorrow with the doctor,” Guardiola said when asked about Ederson’s injury during his post-match press interview.
Man City’s next Premier League game is against Wolves on Saturday.
