UCL: What Bellingham told Harry Kane before his penalty against Real Madrid

Bayern Munich striker, Harry Kane, has revealed what his England teammate Jude Bellingham told him before his penalty in his side’s UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg 2-2 draw against Real Madrid on Tuesday.

Bellingham tried his best to put Kane off in the moments leading up to the penalty.

Referee Clement Turpin even having to push the Real Madrid midfielder away from Kane.

Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, Kane explained what Bellingham said to him.

“In the moment I didn’t know what he said. I spoke to him afterwards and he said he told me, “I know you are going to go left”, he was trying to tell the keeper,” Kane said

He continued, “On the pitch I didn’t know [what he said]. I knew he was there, but I just kind of didn’t know what he said.

“I saw the ‘keeper go a bit early and I was able to put it away. Obviously the penalty was nice for me.”

Goals from Kane, Leroy Sane and Vinicius’ two goals ensured both teams drew at Allianz Arena.
