Tottenham Hotspur coach, Ange Postecoglou, has said his team did not have the right mindset, following their 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League on Thursday night.
Nathaniel Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson scored for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as they completed a Premier League double over Spurs this season.
The result put a dent on Tottenham’s hopes of finishing in the top four and qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
“It wasn’t a great night. We didn’t have the mindset that I expect us to have, so that’s on me, I have got to take responsibility for that,” Postecoglou told the media after the game.
“Ultimately I’m the one that’s putting them out there and preparing them for it.
“We were so far off it I’ve got to look at myself and see how I’m preparing this team for it.”
