Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, has confirmed that goalkeeper Andriy Lunin would take the goalkeeping duties when the Los Blancos face Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final second leg tie on Wednesday at Santiago Bernabeu.
Ancelotti spoke on Friday at his pre-match press conference ahead of Real Madrid’s La Liga clash with Cadiz on Saturday.
His latest comments dismmised speculations of Courtois reclaiming the position for the Champions League fixture.
Recall that Courtois recently returned from a long-term injury that has kept him out of action for several weeks.
“The final we have in mind is Wednesday against Bayern, where Lunin will play. Then, we will see,” Ancelotti said.
TOTAL SPORTS reports that the first leg ended in a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena.
