Brazilian defender Thiago Silva is poised for a return to his former club, Fluminense, this summer as a free agent.
Silva will be leaving Chelsea at the end of his contract this season, and according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a verbal agreement has been reached between the parties.
The contracts for the move are currently being prepared and set to be signed in the coming weeks.
Silva is set to sign a deal with Fluminense until June 2026.
The experienced defender’s admirable career has seen him win several domestic titles and a Champions League trophy with Paris Saint-Germain.
