Al-Nassr has decided to replace captain Cristiano Ronaldo with a 20-year-old striker, Meshari Al-Nemer for the next two games.
This is after the red card Ronaldo got in the Saudi Super Cup game against Al-Hilal a few days ago.
Al-Nassr’s appeal was rejected, which means the 39-year-old will not be available for the next two league games.
Al-Nassr manager Manager Luis Castro has decided to use Al-Nemer as Ronaldo’s replacement, according to Essentially Sports.
Recall that Ronaldo saw a red card for Al-Nassr in their 2-1 defeat to Al-Hilal in their Saudi Super Cup semifinal
The former Real Madrid and Juventus star had a game to forget for the Knights of Najd as they were defeated once more against Al-Hilal.
The former Manchester United forward was seen hitting defender Ali Al-Bulayhi with his elbow during a brief scuffle between them.
Ronaldo had joined Al-Nassr from Manchester United some months ago after his contract was terminated.
