Thomas Tuchel, the current Bayern Munich manager, is contemplating extending his tenure at the Bundesliga club, as reported by ESPN.
Tuchel, who previously managed Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, initially announced in February his intention to depart Bayern this summer.
However, Bayern Munich’s search for his successor has hit several roadblocks, with rejections from top candidates such as Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, and Ralf Rangnick.
In response, Bayern has engaged in discussions with Tuchel about the prospect of him remaining at the helm.
Despite being linked to a potential move to Manchester United, Tuchel is uncertain about securing the position, even if Erik ten Hag exits.
Nevertheless, the German is open to formal talks with United if his negotiations with Bayern fall through and the position at Old Trafford becomes available.
