Chelsea have reportedly been in contact with Bologna coach Thiago Motta as a potential replacement for Mauricio Pochettino.
Juventus has perennially been rumoured to be interested in Motta, however it now appears that Chelsea have expressed interest as well.
With Bologna fourth in the Serie A, Motta has outperformed expectations as his team is set to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
According to Eleonora Trotta of Calcio Mercato, Juventus have been in contact with the former Barcelona and PSG midfielder for months now, but Chelsea have become the latest big club to establish contact with him.
“Thiago Motta to Juventus: in recent days there has been a survey, not in-depth, by Chelsea for the coach of Bologna, who has been in agreement for months with the Bianconeri regarding the new course,” Trotta wrote on X.
