Drogba names five players he regrets not playing with

Chelsea legend Didier Drogba has named five former and current Blues stars he wishes he had played with during his football career as a professional footballer.

Drogba mentioned the likes of Reece James, who is the current captain at Stamford Bridge.

“For me, it was also a great experience,” he told Give Me Sports.

“I wish I was on the pitch with Romelu Lukaku, Antonio Rudiger, N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount, Reece James and so on. Yes, it is a regret.”

Drogba played for Chelsea over two spells, from 2004 to 2012 and again from 2014 to 2015.

The former Ivorian attacker was immensely successful as a striker with the Blues, scoring 164 goals and recording 88 assists in 381 appearances.
