Former Aston Villa striker, Gabby Agbonlahor has tipped Arsenal as favorites to win the 2024/25 ahead of Manchester City.
The former England international insisted that the Premier League North London club are not conceding many goals.
According to him, new signing Riccardo Calafiori would also boost their chances in winning the English top-flight league title.
Recall that Man City won the Premier League title ahead of Mikel Arteta’s side last season.
The new Premier League season will start in August.
“The reason why they [Arsenal] are probably favourites [to win the title] is because let’s look at last season, they only finished two points behind Manchester City,” Agbonlahor told talkSPORT.
“People forget that it was tight, it might not have seemed tight, but it was.
“They are not conceding many goals either, and with Calafiori in there as well, he is going to add more stability to that very good back four already there.”
