Fulham star, Alex Iwobi has moved ahead of former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi on the list of highest capped Nigerian players in the Premier League.
Iwobi achieved the feat after featuring in Fulham’s Premier League 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at the weekend.
The match against Crystal Palace was Iwobi’s 250th Premier League appearances.
Before the game, Iwobi was previously tied on 249 appearances with Mikel Obi.
Iwobi will now set his sight on surpassing Yakubu Aiyegbeni, who has 252 appearances.
The 27-year-old had played for Arsenal and Everton in the past.
Meanwhile, former Newcastle United forward, Shola Ameobi has 298 appearances, while Nwankwo Kanu has 273 appearances.
