EPL: Arteta set to buy £65m attacker for Arsenal

Arsenal are interested in signing Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke, with the striker said to be available for £65m this summer, according to the Sunday Express.

Mikel Arteta’s side will have to battle Tottenham Hotspur, who are also keen on the Solanke.

Solanke netted 19 goals and provided three assists for the Cherries last season.

His displays last term have seen him tipped to move to a ‘Bix Six’ Premier League club ahead of next season.

Although Solanke led the line impressively for Andoni Iraola’s side, he missed out on making England’s squad for Euro 2024 this summer.

England manager Gareth Southgate, however, opted for Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and Brentford’s Ivan Toney instead.
