Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has expressed apprehension regarding the availability of Bukayo Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu for their upcoming match against Manchester United on Sunday.
Saka was seen with heavy strapping during this week’s training sessions, while Tomiyasu was absent from Thursday’s session altogether.
Arteta, addressing his squad’s fitness, admitted to having a few doubts that may be resolved after another training session, but remained cautious.
Arteta was asked about the fitness of his squad, he said: “A few doubts that we can resolve tomorrow as we have another training session, but we’ll have to wait and see.
When asked if he was talking about Saka and Tomiyasu, the Spainaird added: “A few names. Yes [the two that were mentioned].”
